MS Snowmobile Tour December e-Newsletter
The More the Merrier! Receive a Tour sweatshirt when you bring a buddy to the MS Snowmobile Tour What’s better than snowmobiling with your friends? Bringing them to the MS Snowmobile Tour, of course! Veteran riders, recruit a new friend, family member or coworker to join you at the MS Snowmobile Tour and you’ll not only receive a Tour sweatshirt and recognition during the weekend, you’ll be the reason why even more funds are raised for critical MS research, programs and services.
New participants must be signed up by January 15. Just have the rookie rider indicate you as the recruiter on their registration form when they register at MSsnowmobiletour.org. The MS Snowmobile Tour is January 22-24 at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino in Lac du Flambeau, Wis.
First-time Riders Can Register for FREE By using the Ticket to Ride, first-time participants can join for free by waiving the $45 registration fee. All riders are still responsible for raising the minimum pledge of $650, and the ticket may only be used by those who haven’t registered already.
Join the Party Bus Not sure if you want to ride both days? Riders can choose to ride on the Party Bus one day or both days of the Tour. The bus leaves shortly after the snowmobilers and meets up with them for lunch. Register today.
Don’t Have Your Own Sled? Rent One! Rent a sled from Shoeder’s RV, Marine & Sports Center in Rhinelander for the MS Snowmobile Tour. You can have it delivered to Lake of the Torches if you can’t transport it yourself, and other equipment, such as helmets, jacket and bibs, is also available for rental.
Trail Games Announced This year’s Trail Games theme is Redneck Games! Trail games are a fun part of the weekend with each of the color groups of riders participating in a series of games. This year, come prepared for the Redneck Fashion Show – each color group will have the chance to model and describe three outfits. Scores will be based on the fashion items, description of the items and creativity.
